Emberdale Route

6 Steps

1. Enter Emberdale and Find the Gaffer

  1. Use the completed red pedestal to reach Emberdale and watch the vision of Mount Burnmont erupting.
  2. Enter the village and speak with the Gaffer in the two-story building beside the church.
  3. Find Palmela in the village square, then meet her inside the trading post.

2. Join the Fire Festival

  1. Rest at the inn until night.
  2. Speak with Palmela and the Gaffer as the village prepares to climb Mount Burnmont.
  3. Join the ritual procession and enter the volcano with Palmela.

3. Descend Mount Burnmont

  1. Use the statue near the entrance before heading deeper.
  2. Follow the signs through the volcano and drop through the crater levels to the bottom.
  3. Use the lower statue before approaching the Glowering Inferno.

4. Stop the Black Flame

  1. Defeat the Glowering Inferno and collect the fragment it leaves behind.
  2. Return to the ritual area and speak with Palmela.
  3. Use the Rainbow Cove water carried from Estard Island to extinguish the Black Flame.

5. Return to Estard Island

  1. Rest in Emberdale, then collect Palmela's fragment the following morning.
  2. Use the cleared portal and report the restored island at Estard Castle.
  3. Return home, rest, and regroup with Maribel and Kiefer at the hidden ship cave.

6. Visit Present-day Emberdale

  1. Sail to the restored island and visit the current Palmela in Emberdale.
  2. Collect the fragment in her room.
  3. Return to Mount Burnmont for the remaining fragment, then place the green fragments at the Shrine of Mysteries.
