Frobisher's Automatons. Help Faraday resist the automaton invasion, work with Autonymus and Ellie, clear the Automaton Stronghold, and finish the present-day island route.

Step by step

Frobisher Route

1. Enter Frobisher and Reach Faraday

  1. Travel from the portal to Frobisher Village and investigate the automaton attack.
  2. Defeat the automaton that attacks as you leave.
  3. Follow Commander Thaddeus west to Faraday Castle and meet the king.

2. Find Autonymus

  1. Visit the castle watchtower and receive the report that Frobisher has fallen.
  2. Travel west to the Institute of Automatry.
  3. Speak with Autonymus and inspect the damaged pink automaton.

3. Repair Ellie

  1. Return to Frobisher and salvage parts from the three broken automatons.
  2. Bring the parts back to Autonymus.
  3. Report at Faraday Castle, then return to the Institute during the automaton assault so Ellie can be completed.

4. Enter the Automaton Stronghold

  1. Rest at Faraday Castle and attend the meeting in the watchtower.
  2. Travel east of the portal to the Automaton Stronghold.
  3. Enter with Thaddeus, Autonymus, and Ellie, then use the elevators to reach the lower chambers.

5. Defeat the Stronghold Leaders

  1. Use the statue before the inner fight and defeat the Automatrist.
  2. Continue to the next chamber and defeat the Tinpot Dictator.
  3. Defeat the Slaughtomaton and collect the blue fragment.

6. Finish the Present-day Route

  1. Return to Faraday Castle, then travel back to the present-day island.
  2. Follow the king and Ambrose through the Institute and castle events involving Ellie.
  3. Speak with Ambrose, visit his granddaughter in Frobisher, recover Ellie's parts, and return them at Faraday Castle.
  4. Receive the final fragment from Ambrose and return to the Shrine of Mysteries.
