Step by step

Highland Plateau Route

1. Return to the Shrine and Activate the Next Pedestal

Return to the Shrine of Mysteries with the fragments from the coastal island arc.
Place the fragments on the active pedestals to trigger the next sequence.
A new pedestal activates, pointing toward a highland plateau region on the world map.

2. Reach the Highland Ruins (Present Day)

Navigate to the highland plateau on the world map.
Explore the present-day ruins — collapsed structures, silent streets, and signs of an ancient crisis still visible in the stonework.
Investigate the ruins for the time gateway entrance that leads to the past timeline.

3. Locate the Time Gateway

Find the temporal marker within the highland ruins.
Complete any conditions required to activate the gateway before entering.
Enter the past-timeline version of the highland settlement.

4. Explore the Highland Settlement (Past)

Speak with residents of the past settlement to understand the crisis that befell the region.
Complete any required tasks or events to advance the story and open the path to the underground temple.
Specific past-timeline objectives and NPC quest triggers are currently in active validation.

5. Descend to the Underground Temple and Recover Fragments

Locate the underground temple entrance within the past settlement or its surrounding area.
Navigate the temple interior, checking side chambers for optional items before proceeding to the main chamber.
Defeat the boss encounter guarding the fragment chamber. Boss identity and stats are currently in active validation.
Collect the stone tablet fragments from the temple, exit to the present, and return to the Shrine of Mysteries.
