Release state
Konami Digital Entertainment’s Japanese launch release (August 27, 2026) states Vol. 2 went on sale that day for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Konami’s US announcement (February 12, 2026) locked the same date and platforms. The official METAL GEAR account posted that Vol. 2 is out now on August 27, 2026.

Konami US list: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (first port since the 2008 original); Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version); Metal Gear: Ghost Babel as bonus content. PlayStation.Blog (Konami) says Ghost Babel is selectable in the Bonus Content section. MGS4 and Peace Walker are also sold as stand-alone digital titles.
