Fragments are a core Dragon Quest VII progression concept. PixelQuest is building this tracker to keep classic PS1 / 3DS reference data separate from Dragon Quest VII Reimagined evidence.

PixelQuest.gg is independent, unaffiliated, not official, and not a complete walkthrough. Classic carryover data must be rechecked against Reimagined before it becomes guide-grade information.

How PixelQuest Will Validate Fragments

Record player notes: Capture the exact observation, platform, version, and play session context.
Capture screenshots/video where possible: Attach evidence references without relying on memory alone.
Compare classic PS1 / 3DS data against Reimagined: Treat classic data as reference, not confirmation.
Mark contradictions for manual review: Keep conflicting claims out of published guide language.
Upgrade only after evidence review: Entries become Verified only after source and evidence checks support them.

Classic vs Reimagined Warning

Classic locations may change. Progression order may change. Rewards, timing, or requirements may change. Do not treat old checklist data as confirmed Reimagined data.

Classic references are useful for comparison only.
Reimagined locations remain Needs Validation until checked.
Fragment timing and progression gates require direct Reimagined evidence.

Evidence Policy

Classic references are not automatically Reimagined facts. They remain Classic Reference until direct Reimagined evidence supports them.
Player-Evidence will be labeled when Jeremy/player notes are added. Single-player notes are observations, not universal facts.
Needs Validation stays until checked. Unchecked details cannot be upgraded by assumption.
Contradictory claims require manual review. PixelQuest does not average, guess, or choose between conflicting fragment claims without evidence.
