Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
This hub is Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. Nintendo of Europe: it was known as Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan, originally released only in Japan, and “never brought to the West in its original NES format.” It is not the 1988 North American Super Mario Bros. 2 (pick-up-and-throw / Subcon). Nintendo’s NES – Nintendo Classics app lists both games separately. Do not mix their warps, items, or endings.
Current official play path: Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Classics, with a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Version this cluster means: the original-style 8-bit Lost Levels listed on Nintendo’s NES – Nintendo Classics store page — not Super Mario All-Stars (SNES) and not Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (Game Boy Color).
Nintendo of Europe one-line: tough new level designs, trickier enemies, and fierce winds that blow Mario away.
