Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels · walkthrough
World 3
Reverse Warp Zone in 3-1 can send you back to 1-1. That is intended, not a glitch. Previous and next stage links sit under each area.
World 3-1
Flagpole — or do not take the reverse warp unless you want World 1 again.
How to progress
- This world contains a reverse Warp Zone. Super Mario Wiki / PixelQuest warp page: a 3-1 pipe can return you to World 1-1.
- If you want World 9, do not use forward warps. Whether this reverse warp also voids World 9 on Nintendo Classics is UNKNOWN here — the safe no-warp run skips all Warp Zone rooms.
- Main path: flagpole to the right. Do not drop into a pipe labeled by the warp page as reverse unless you mean it.
